Drive for 45 min then dies? 200

I drive for about 45 minutes then my 240 just dies like it is overheated or something but it is not overheating. Simple stuff has been done. New cap rotor spark plugs, feul filter, recent main feul pump, recent timing belt. Car has been sitting for about three months, it is my second car, an emergency car. My thoughts are that the prepump is bad or clogged? I will check that. I will try and clean as many electrical connectors as I can find, a little sanding to get good metal contacts. I just read about the thermostat going bad and causing problems in the air mass meter, I will replace that part too, how much it cost? Could it be a distributer problem, I havent looked at the inner workings of the distributer just put on new cap and rotor. Other than that I am stumped. Any comments would be much appreciated.
