Vibration at 55 mph - where to start, and what to check next? 200 1992

My daughter's 240 vibrates at 50 to 55 mph or so. This isn't while braking, just driving straight ahead. The steering wheel shakes a little. It is more noticeable on a fwy with concrete and expansion joints and less on a fwy with smooth asphalt. My limited knowledge suggests that you should first have the tires balanced and I will. However I don't know where to look next, since I doubt that that will do it. The word "bushings: comes to mind (which, where, how?). Should I buy the bushings kit from IPD and then hire someone to install them?
