Hello everyone,
I have an interesting question about my 1988 760 Turbo. When I turn the ingnition switch on, the fuel pump never primes. It never has since I've owned the car. This is not a major problem, as it always starts fine. But the car cranks for a long time before it does start. I have never really worried about this, as it doesn't really hurt anything. However, another gentleman recently posted as to why his 700 cranks for a long time before starting, so I figured I'd ask. Many people replied to him and said to wait for the humming to stop before cranking. The problem is, mine never starts humming. It never primes the pump before I crank the engine. What might be causing this? Any ideas are greatly appreciated. Thanks!
