Blinkers will not turn off 200

Hi all,

My '89 244's blinkers will not turn off automatically. The blinkers all work, I can hear the click but I have to turn them off manualy. I don't want to look like some dumb a$$ who drives down the road with his blinker on. If I can't fix it I am just going to buy a gray/blue wig so I can disguise myself as a little old lady. Is this an easy fix? What to do.
