Resetting service light? 700 1989

Hello, I was curious if anyone knows how to reset the service light on the dashboard of my 1989 760GLE? I like to do all the oil changes myself but according to the owners manual it will come on every 6,000mi. I know it sounds trivial but the light tend to get on your nerves after a while.
Any help would be greatly appreciated.
