Our A/C Compressor clutch is not engaging when the A/C button is engaged. The clutch itself is funcitioning correctly, since we connected a 12V lead directly from the battery when the engine was running, and the clutch engaged. I checked the voltage at the lead into the clutch, and it read 0.02 volts when the A/C button is in the off position, and 0.03 volts when the button is in the on position. It was steady at these values, so I know that this is not a "noise" fluctuation. I suspect a relay, but I don't know where to look. We also checked the diagnostic reading from the A/C unit itself, but it returned 1-1-1, "no fault". Any ideas????
Please help.
BTW, we also had trouble with the vents not working, but thanks to this site, we located a vacuum hose that was inadvertently disconnected in the engine bay. Now, the vent selector switch works like a dream. Thanks to whomever put those notes in the 7xx/9xx FAQ's!!
