compressor by-pass valve? not sure what it looks like 700

i think i know what volvorod was describing. i think he is right too. when i jiggle the hose that goes over the block with the foam padding covering it i notice it effects the idle. where this hose connects to is near the front of engine and on passenger side. it looks like a white plastic fitting the branches off if i remember. is this the peice i need to replace? or is it an actual valve that is more of a part. while i am at replacing this, how do i buy the turbo gaskets, oil line seals, etc for turbo without having it apart and realizing i need another gasket? is there a kit somebody sells? or list someone has?thanks for the help, i know my post is probaly idiotic, but i just graduated to a turbo car, and i remember on my first 240 w/cis, that when i was young and a know it all, i ended learning the system the hard way for a problem that was just a simple throttle adjustment. the turbo does seems to have less room for error so i am being overly cautious, because my wife will say i told you so about turbos$$$$!
thanks
tj
