Door Lock Actuator Removal 700

So on my '90 744ti, I just installed a keyless entry system. Works fine, except for the drivers door. How the hell do I remove that actuator? It seems riveted in between two welded steel pieces in the door. Or how do I mount an additional actuator to actuate (heh) the stock one? I'd love some help from someone who has done this before, I'm about to go nuts. Thanks in advance.
