flame trap 200 1980

Hello out there...
I am just wondering about this flame trap on volvos.
I have no idea what it looks like, or even how to clean it.
I have a 1980 240 DL with a 2.1 liter 4 cylinder with single barrel carb.

Where is this flame trap and how do i clean it out?
Help is greatly appreciated.
