Rear side window removal + brake conversions ... 120-130 1964

Another year, another "new" Volvo :) ...

Given it's age, it ain't perfect. First on my list is the rust, which there's a good bit under the seals of the rear (cargo area) side windows. Is there a technique to remove the window, but without damaging the seals, which are still intact?

Currently, it's still drum brakes all-around. Would the disc brakes off the sedans be a direct swap? Any good upgrades for the rear?
