sidemarker lights installed... operating oppositional to front turn signals? 700

brickers:

okay, so I got a hold of some turn signals off a saab 900 and modified them to fit the smaller opening in my 745t. I would have gone with the audi markers barton mentions on his tsignal page here:

http://www.linkline.com/personal/dbarton/SideMarkerLights.html

but he's out and I can't find any of the enterprise size audis that have these markers equipped (ideally I want the clear units off a new passat, but no one seems to be wrecking them in my area...).

However, I have run into a problem with the wiring. I followed the instructions provided here:

http://lighting.mbz.org/tech/how_to/markerflash/

which outline a method to have the sidemarkers operate in both the parking light and turn signal loops. The problem is that, while the lights activate with the parking lights and blink with the turn signals, they blink in direct opposition to the front turn signals. Anyone know how I could rewqire them so they operate in sequence without going all hard core?

It's not a huge issue... as I said, it all lights. I'd just rather not look like a christmas tree when I go to make a turn. ;)

Thanks in advance,
rt
