Hydraulic Motor mounts top bolt 700

I have been trying hard to start my first time project of changing motor mounts here... I have learned a good place to start is the passenger's side- top nut on the motor mount. I cannot even get that off. The motor mount seems to have a little hat on it. What the heck is that? A socket won't go on and a wrench seems darn near impossible. All directions I have found say, take off nut. I need to know how people get this thing off. Thanks.
