245GLT for sale 200 1990

I'm being offered a 245 GLT for around AU$6k+ which was imported from the UK to here (Australia) by its owner a few years ago. I thought T was turdbo but apparently not this one. Anyway its a manual 5sp, 5spoke alloy wheels, leather, 200k kms. The seller says its the last of the 200 series. Is there anything to watch for particularly with this year/model? My others are a 75DL and 81 GL which are steam age (mech inj)and I feel this deal may force me kicking and screaming into the 1990's. How different is it? Better? Worse? How? Other Brickster experiences?
