I have760 gle (v6). Starts fine but after 20kms it gets a rough idle, loss of power. I have noticed that as I try to accelerate from stop (after the 20 kms), rpm seems to climb normally ie there I am trying to cross an intersection at 3 mph, foot on the accellerator but the rpm is where i would expect it to be ie between 2500 and 3500 depending on how hard i am frantically pressing the accellerator.

The key to me is that the RPM climbs as I accellerate but there is no pickup. what happens then is that as I tap off slightly it will sudddenly pick up.

Could it be the knock sensors, broken ring, some elctrical degradation, loose manifold etc etc? I have checked the Fuel pump regulator and even resoldered just to make sure. Have changed plugs in case one fault.
