Headliner removal... 700 1989

Once again with the headliner stuff...

I'm gonna remove the 'liner out of my 89 745, but the problem is that clip by the windshield, the one that runs the whole width of the car... it's a PITA to remove intact... any suggestions?

Moving along to the middle of the car, the sunroof thing is another PITA, but it's do-able, just how do you remove the little trim piece that runs around the sunroof rim?

And now to the back... the headliner is tucked up under some steel stampings and no matter how I finesse it, it won't budge...

Yeah, I looked at ipd's free instructions but they don't offer any suggestions as to how to remove the old one in detail... and of course Haynes, Bentley and Chiltons are useless...
