My new parts 700 1988

I thought it would be a breeze to install most of the parts i ordered the past week. SO far i reinstalled the rear driver-side tail light. I was all done and then ready to test when i realized that the little bulb on the far lower left side didn't have any wires to connect it to the new hook up. I had to take it all apart and remove the old wire from the broken tail light and then tape the it to the new slot for it. This, of course, some how led to other problems...like the turn signal not working (turned out to be a bad bulb) and the rear fog light flashing on the occasion. After loosing and tightening the bulb holders i found their perfect places that they prefer to light up in and left them alone.
Next, i installed a new under tray. The PO seemed to have never put the thing back on. I even had to come onto here to figure out what size bolts you use to attach the thing. Turns out the old bolts where still there on the car! That was helpful; however, the new tray barely fit on the car. I had to mash the front part around to get it to stay on. I'm going to drill some screws in it if it seems to get loose later on.
Hopefully, tomorrow i will get to replace my fuel pump check valve and my other parts will arrive to be placed in the car as well. Wed. the car goes to the shop for rear u-joint replacements.
Nevertheless, i've been waiting to do all this work for a long time. I saved up a lot of money to get the parts, fix the car up, and finally get a new paint job. Nothing, not even a messed up light or gas/oil/brake fluid/water/radon spill from my car is going to stop me.'

Have fun everyone!
