960 engine 900

Was the 960's engine from 1992-98 ever made out of cast iron, or was it an all-aluminum unit? I'm of the impression that the B230F engine in the 940 was the last all cast-iron motor that Volvo ever made. I do know for a fact that the 2.4-liter I-5 in my 850 is made entirely out of aluminum.
