Is my unbreakable tranny toast? 200 1984

Last Friday, the overdrive in the transmission (automatic) stopped engaging.

After verifying the relay is good, power to the OD solenoid, and OD solenoid is good (pulled it and did the puff test), the overdrive still doesn't engage.

Yes, I have topped off the fluid and I can hear the OD solenoid clicking when my helper hits the switch on the shifter.

Any thoughts out there?
