240instrument cluster

I am trying to swap a 1986 instrument cluster into a 1989 240.
Everything seems compatible except there is no blue single wire
in the 89(i got the car without a cluster so have no example)
There is a yellow single,does it plug into the same spot?Any
information available ? I have bently&haynes but can not find
anything usefull in wiring diagrams on this.
