Airbags? 700 1989

I'm wondering, does anyone know if airbags can be addedd to a 1989 740 GL? if so, does anyone have any experience with that? or know anyone who has? If someone could list some pros/cons about doing this, i'd like that too. Last but not least, if anyone has an idea of what i would expect to pay for this, that'd be great. thanks!
