need help with placement of coil and ballast wires 200 1978

i am trying to re-wire my 78 240, the haynes book only shows where the white wire goes, and one for the neg side. i have two wires coming from the firewall harness ( blue w/black connector, and white and red). I have a couple brown and blue wires etc. from the ignition unit harness. The black tach wire goes to the negative side i think?
Any help would be great.
