NO Starting 700 1988

HI: I am begining to have a problem with my engin not starting on the first try. That is ,when I turn the key all the way to the start position all I get is a click sound. The dash lights all come on,bulb out,brakes,oil,and so on,thats all normal. On the second attempt to start, it starts. I replaced the starter last August and its still under warrenty,and it was in fact the starter because I tested it and it was shot. When the engine starts on the second try , the engine starts strong as ever , so I am asking if the system/fuel injection relay can cause this condition? I was going to remove it to see if it would cause this no start condition over and over again but wanted to get your imput first before doing that . Any information you can give me I would be thankful for. Thanks;Dan.
