SMOKING BIG TIME 700 1988

HELP,,,,, This morning while driving about 60 mph,my '88 760 turbo started smoking from the exhaust big time. I used 3 quarts of oil in thirty miles.

This car has 158,00 miles on it and runs like a top. This problem popped up with no warning, and I left a huge cumulus like cloud from Flowery Branch to Stone Mountain, GA. HELP Please. What would cause this? Will it hurt to drive the car another thirty miles to get home? email me at dentoid@mindsprind.com.
