Alternator Belt tightening for 1981 245 200 1981

I know that this has been discussed before, but I was unable to find a thread that talked about 81 and previous 240 models. I am unable to find a tension adjusting bolt for the alternator belt. Is there an adjusting bolt for 81 models? or do I just have to loosen the pivot bolt, have someone pull the alternator down with force while I re-tighten the pivot bolt? is there an easier way? Thanx.
