BETTER CLUTCH-cable or hydraulic? 700 1985

I have a 1985 740 Turbo wagon with a B230FT motor and an M46 manual tranny (4 speed + OD). I am going to be putting in tranny #4 and another new clutch. It presently has a hydraulic clutch, but what would be better? A cable style clutch or stick with the hydraulic clutch?
If I stick with the hydraulic, I wont have to adjust it ever, but with the cable, I can always tighten it...
