The title is pretty descriptive. I've noticed since the winter (which in Calgary seems to last until the end of May!) that the bumps on the road aren't being very forgiving to my brick's back-end. I'm pretty sure it's the shocks, but I'm looking for confirmation from those who know better.
I've done the bounce test and I get at least 3 or 4 bounces before it comes to a resting state in the back (on both sides). The front comes to a resting state after one bounce (push down, back up, and then stops).
Could there be anything else I need to replace? The bushings were done by the PO a couple of years ago.
If it's only the shocks, it seems like a simple repair. 2 bolts on each side... do I need one of those spring compressor things? I don't want this thing to shoot off and hit me in the nogin.
Thanks all.
Maggie.
