Ok, I cannot for the life of me figure this one out. I'll give you the backround. I buddy and I went in on an '82 244 GL, 250,000+ miles, rusty (Wisconsin). Anyway, oil change was overdue (about 3,000) plus a slow leak. So we changed the oil, filter, got maybe half a windsheild washer jug-full out - black and goopy). Put about 4.5 quarts 10w30 in, and now the oil idiot light flickers. Never before, but it does now. It seems to do it more when stopped or stopping. Immediatly after it was almost completly on, now flickers sometimes. Any ideas as to what it may be?
