Rear-End Compatibility 700 1988

I've finally got my new front bushings and front brakes done so I'm ready to move on to my next project. I want to swap out my noisy, slow 3.31 rear end with a shorter ratio out of an automatic turbo or n/a 700 series(3.73 or 3.91). What years will I be able to swap with? If I remember correctly the earlier models were a little different. Can I use the rear end from a car with ABS? My car doesn't have ABS. Lastly can I grab the instrument cluster from the car I take the rear end from so the speedometer is already calibrated to that final drive ratio?(I can change the mileage to have it match mine)
