I got a 1984 244 GL and I have a small problem. I adjust the Air Idle Control knob then started the car. I was pleased to see my car idle at 1500rpm since it normally idled at 2200rpm. I reved the engin twice first to about 4000 then to about 5000, i then turned the car off. Two hours later I go out and the car wont start, it will crank, just not turn over. I also noticed that my fuel pump is now making this really loud buzzing noise when I turn the car on(its a constant buzz). Could this be a clogged filter from reving my engine? Bad rely on the pump? HELP!!
