i've got an old k-jet, replace'd the seal on the air knob on the throttle body, capped off the egr system, now the idle seems to high (typically 1500rpm), now i can thread in the air knob to drop the rpms, but i suspect this is just making it run richer, now i could adjust he timeing as well, but what's the correct method to get the timing/idle/fuel mixture set ? i know the fuel mixture was adjusted a while back to richen it a bit after leaning it out to pass air care on the fuel distributer. & no, my ssytem doesn't have lambda sond or whatever the oxygen sensor system was called.
thanks guys =)
