265 as a tow car...... 200

Hi,

As it happens, I need to tow a car home on a car trailer..... The only car I currently own with a tow hitch is a 1980 265 with a 2.3L in place of the V6.

is this tough beast capable of such a feat? i'm not worried about speed, i just dont want to tear the car in two and damage the gearbox/dif/engine.
