Has anyone ever done any investigation into the possibility of grafting a more readily and less expensive 9" inch rear brake drum onto the Volvo rear hub. The reason I ask is that I know the repacements are expensive and quite hard to come by and several years ago I worked at Kelsey-Hayes as a Millwright and we made 9" drums at that time for the mid size Chrysler products and I had always wondered about this. In the interests of not re-inventing the wheel I thought I would ask.
