Seems like they aren't really correct. For driving less than 2 minutes, or 2 block the temp gauge is in the middle already. Seems like too short of time to be properly warmed up. I don't want to do any turbo damage thinking i'm warmed up already. My fuel gauge doesn't seem to read right. The most I have filled up is 45 litres at once, the tank holds 65 litres. I do about 50% highway/city driving, and get over 400kms on a tank, I think I should be able to get more than that. The gauge seems to read lower than it should. My dad was talking about a voltage stabilizer, but I can't find anything that the 700 series has these things. I know the earlier models do, 140 and 240's. Is there any specific part I can look at that can affect the gauge readings? Also, my RPM gauge reads high, around 1100-1200 rpms at idle. The idle is actually lower than it should be, when I come to a stop, the idle drops down where it kind of shudders. It never stalls, but it feels like it wants to. Maybe there is something in the ignition system that is the roots of these problems.
At least I got my tailshaft seal replaced yesterday. Now it shouldn't gush so much oil anymore!
Thanks for any ideas you guys might have. Its kind of frustrating.
