Help how do I check Damper Fluid Level Check 82 244 Zenith Solex 200

I just purchase a mint 1982 244 DL (GT wheels and steering wheel and chin spoiler) and I am about to do a routine inspection. It has a carburetted B21A with a Zenith Solex carb....the Haynes manual is not to clear on ho full this resevoir is and I do not have the original owners manual. HELP PLEASE!
