Well I have always been very sceptical about fuel injector cleaners and additives. In the past I have always used professional grade cleaners and special equipment to clean fuel systems.

That has changed to some degree. I dont have my normal equipment and supplies to clean fuel injectors and the system and reluctantly decided to give Chevrons Techron cleaner a try.

I was very surprised at the results. After burning 1/2 tank of gas my car is idling incredibly smooth. Before it had a slight ocillation in idle and would stumble occasionally. This also was present at higher rpm.

Before using it I ran a bore scope into the intake manifold and the valves had a fair amount of carbon on them. They are noticeable cleaner now. I can project that they will be even cleaner over the next 1/2 tank of gas.

So I would have to say that the Chevron Techron actually works!
