okay, so i did something stupid. i used an abrasive pad, you know the green scrubby ones, and rubbed a tiny portion of my paint job while i was washing the car. there was some stuff that was just stuck on. now, since i was washing the car, and the sun wasn't really out that bright, it looked like it didn't scratch the surface, so i did it on a few other spots. of course, the next
day, i saw a bunch of discolored spots. it's still silver, but it seems to be a lighter shade of silver, or rather duller. what did i do here, did i remove some of the finish? i tried waxing the discolored portions but that didn't help. it seems as if some of the gloss is gone.
what do i need to fix this?
