New to me 89 745 turbo 700 1989

I just recently purchased an 89 745 Turbo to replace my totaled 89 245DL N/A.

I was very familliar with the workings of the 240. Great car, easy to diagnose problems and I could do 90% of the work myself.

The turbo is new ground for me, but I love it already. I doubt I'll ever go back to an non-turbo car, except my 65 1800. :)

A few questions about the 89 740:

1) Where is the diagnostics readout box? I've looked for it under the hood and can't find anything like what I had on my 240. I understand it has one, but I know not where to look.

2) Can someone point me toward a shop manual? Haynes's usually get me by, supplemented with some internet research and advice from other Volvo owners, but the Haynes for the 740 stops at 1988. I don't mind spending the $15 for it, if it will still be of use. IPD lists a UK version that includes the 89 740 but I don't know the difference between US models and UK models of that era to know if this would be any better. I'd rather not purchase a whole set of factory service manuals from Volvo (unless someone can point me at a set for cheap)

3) What panels do I need to remove to change an indicator bulb in the dash? The Check Engine light doesn't come on at startup, and never came on after I unplugged the AMM and ran the car at idle. I suspect the previous owner or their mechanic may have removed it to cover up a code (I know the car to be running rich). The car won't pass emissions inspection here with a Check Engine light on, but also some stations check for the light to come on at startup.

Thanks in advance!
