Test for AC low pressure switch (presostat)? 200 1991

The AC is cold but the compressor does not cycle on/off at idle, only runs and runs and runs. Replaced AC Relay and on/off switch works.The compressor is quiet.44 psi at dryer when idling.The condenser electric fan works, so would assume the high pressure switch is okay. Air flow volume eventually dies(hour plus rides)(blower motor works), I'm guessing that has something to do with the absence of cycling in the compressor. Thanks is advance.
