Some S80 input (I know, wrong forum....) 900

I realize this is not the S80 forum, but I posted a similar question there a couple of days ago, and I noticed their forum is not nearly as active as this one, so I thought, "what the heck" I'll post here as well.

I currently drive a 91 944T. This car has given me excellent service for the 11+ years I have had it. I am starting to look around for a newer car because my new job requires a lot of windshield time, and despite my meticulous maintenance (this car has NEVER left me stranded), I sometimes worry about my car's reliability.

I really like RWD, and have been considering a used MB E320 (98 or newer), but damn they are expensive! I have been considering a used S80 as well, and the prices seem to be good.

Are there any known issues with the S80? Do S80 drivers seem pleased? Any opinions or input would be appreciated.

Keefus (1991 944T, 170k miles, 1995 945T, 120k miles)
