How much should the engine move when starting? 200 1990

When starting the engine in a 240, is it normal for it to move so much from side to side? I know there are some larger than normal forces going on at that moment but my car seems a little excessive. Any experiences?

On a related note, how can you tell if the motor mounts are going bad? The engine isn't supposed to sit on them is it?
