Cruise controll issue 200 1979

I have a 1979 262C that has the 6 cylinder motor removed and a B21 from a 1980 put in. it was like this when i bought it and the cruise controll does not work. is there any way that this could be fixed or what? i really have no idea where to start on it so maybe you guys could help me out. thanks!
