Idle Search 700 1988

When car parked and running my 745T 88' seems to search idle, the turbo starts working for a 3-4 seconds period and idle goes up, then goes down again and 15-20 sec later the same process starts again..this is a rather recent problem and it doesn't seem to affect the performance of the car. At this point I was thinking of a throttle body clean up might get rid of the problem. Any tips ? or info regarding my problem are welcome.
