960 PCV service - mechanic says '4 hours, $260'. is that possible?

this is my sister's car. i am a 240 man, and unfortunately we live on opposite coasts, so i can't do the work on her car for her. i am not familiar with the 960 engine, but how could it be possible that PCV service would take much more than a half-hour?

i know modern engines are "packaged" very differently, but come on now.
