Guess this is not too uncommon of a problem, but yesterday I was trying to get out of my 940 to go in to work. The darn thing would not release and I thought of creative ways to remove my self from this situation. With some tugging and pushing it finally came out. The problem persisted with further usage.
Solution: I squirted WD-40 down the mouth of the buckle receiver and it works perfectly, in fact better than previously. Never have seen lubrication of this even suggested and I know a lot of receivers have been replaced. Perhaps they just need a squirt of lube.
FWIW,
