1993 940 warning light 900

What does the light on the dash that looks like a lightbulb with lines comming off it....the orange one mean? Not the foglights or the blue high beam light. Someimes when braking it has flashed on momentarily.

Also one more question. What does the lever do that is next to the dimmer switch....the one that looks like a cross between and I and a Y?
