I have a real problem with my old trusty '82 245. I have owned this car since new and this has never happened before. It has 283,000 miles on it and is in great condition. It was the first model year with the LH fuel injection system (no throttle switch) and the wierd ignition system, Chrysler unit with the white dist. cap.
The car runs great but for no apparent reason it stalls out and won't start. Then it will just start and run fine. I can't depend on it to get me anywhere without it doing this. I have replaced the computer, the fuel pumps, both fuel pump relays, have checked the complete wiring harness for it's usual problems and done a complete tune-up with compression check. None of this helped. Does anyone have any sugesstions?? Thanks in advance.
