244 Carburetor engine
I just received a phone call from my cousin who took my car to the college. According to him the temp shot up on his way back and he continued driving back to the house for about 15km. The car stalled on reaching the house.
He went on to inspect the engine and found that water is coming out from the opening of the engine that join the intake manifold. He kept pouring water and water kept coming out. (the manifold nuts were already out and he pulled apart the intake manifold from the cylinder head)
As I know it, no water should go into that area since fuel and air mixture goes through that tunnel. So if water actually comes out from there, this is something serious.
Please help!!!!!
BTW only last night we were trying to remove the intake manifold gasket because it was rotting and leaking. After removing those nuts we could not pull the manifold apart so we let it as it was late and we thought of continuing the job the next day. And today that's what happened.
