instrument panel 200 1993

I attempted to install a tach where the large clock is in my 93 240. Once all set up, nothing worked not even the fuel gauge. So I figured the tach was bad and put the clock back--still nothing. I checked the fuse and it's ok. There is a female connection floating around back there to which I can not find a match to on the instrument panel. It has a blue, a green/white, and a black wire going into it. Hopefully I am missing something obvious. Any ideas?
