A/C vents - Thanks for the info, one last question?? 900 1995

First let me say god bless you guys for posting the info on how to plug up the
yellow hose under the dash. I did this and everything is working
fine again (this has saved me a $1000USD). I do however have one last question
When I plugged up the yellow hose I also plugged up the connector on the
vaccum where the yellow hose was originally connected. Is this a good idea?? Will
it cause further damage over the long run??

By the way if I have the recirc button pressed in I still lose the air pressure
through the vents (when accelerating) even with the yellow hose plugged up.
Could this mean that my problem might be related to a faulty check valve or
a one way valve, and not the vacuum motor under the dash??

Thanks in advance-
