Start problem 700 1987

I have a 1987 760 Turbo that has an intermittent starting problem. On hot days after driving about 1/2 hr or more the car will not start, it doesn't crank,turn over or anything, it's just dead, but it will jump start immediately, or restart after sitting about1/2 hr.
Any ideas?
